Every person I've ever come across who didn't enjoy some form of music was an insensitive piece of shit and / or a narcissist.Įdit: A ton of you are getting the wrong idea. I literally don't trust people who "don't really listen to music". It's a beautiful part of her life that I'm getting to see firsthand, and I just can't wait for us to find some overlap between our personal musical experiences. That's until quite recently when she found out about bands that talk about environmentalism, which is a cause she's very active towards and feels personally attached to - going through this have fundamentally changed how she connects to music and I've seen her experiencing music differently for a few months now. My wife on the other hand was not really introduced to music as anything other than a way of connecting herself to social circles. I am now in my late twenties and have a deep connection to music, and I am always actively looking for ways to maintain and evolve that connection. I mean, my parents would put me to sleep to music, and they have encouraged me to express myself musically since I was just a little kiddo. Maybe it's just not entirely natural for the human being to easily connect itself to music. I feel like there's something growing inside of her that is making her feel more connected to music in general lately, though. She doesn't quite get why, or just how does songs like "Wait" by M83, or Wish you Were Here, hit me so hard. My wife doesn't really feel connected to songs, although she does get a kick out of dancing and expressing herself through it.
